The stress church leadership quickly reveals a leader's of character for what it is: precious jewels or wood, hay, and stubble. Leading With Integrity aims to build consistent godliness throughout a leader's life. Character is sectional, says renowned Christian leader Fred Smith, more like a grapefruit than a watermelon: A dozen sections of a leader's life may be strong in character, yet that leader can still have a few that are weak. A pastor may have integrity in relationships, for example, but be overwhelmed by ego. Along with wise help in discerning character weaknesses, Smith offers fresh insight into God's ways to grow strong.

I found this book to be excellent. It's a must read for anyone striving to be a better Leader...regardless of Leadership in the Church, or Leadership in the Business world. This book helps one to remain humble at all times, helps you to see that you don't have to be 'Dictatorial' ...but that you can lead from a place of 'Compassion' and still (if not more so) gain the respect of others. This book leaves you 'Gasping'...that's how insightful it is. You may even find yourself having to put it down...because it hits home ....and then picking it back up again later.
