Leave Me Never by Connie Stevens

A Truly Yours Digital Edition. . .Tessa is stuck in Willow Creek, Iowa, with no food, no money, no home, no job. No future. Mama is dead and Papa left. Where are God’s promises now? Maybe Papa’s right, and she really is worthless—so worthless even God doesn’t care about her. When Gideon rescued a girl from a beating by her own father in the middle of the street, he never expected to find love. His own problems are overwhelming—his business is failing and his dreams look more doubtful by the minute. But he can’t get Tessa out of his mind.

About the Author

CONNIE STEVENS lives with her husband of forty-plus years in north Georgia, within sight of her beloved mountains. She and her husband are both active in a variety of ministries at their church. A lifelong reader, Connie began creating stories by the time she was ten. Her office manager and writing muse is a cat, but she’s never more than a phone call or email away from her critique partners. She enjoys gardening and quilting, but one of her favorite pastimes is browsing antique shops where story ideas often take root in her imagination. Connie has been a member of American Christian Fiction Writers since 2000.

It was a great read. All about learning to trust in God when all else seems lost. I loved how the main characters grew spiritually in the course of the book. And how Tessa learned that everything her father drilled into her head growing up--that she was useless and unworthy-- was replaced by the value she found as being a child of God and hacing the love of a caring man at her side. Great book
