I have never read any of Charlotte's books. This one was recommended to me and I finished it in less than 2 weeks as it is nearly 600 pages. The story is wonderful and I would put it on the scale of comparable to my all-time favorite The Shell Seekers' as a book that makes you want to keep turning the page. A wonderfully written book. I don't understand why I always have to order Allen's books...they are not included in the stores. The book captures the feeling of finding love in spite of not loving yourself first.
