Finally! A book uniting two cultures/languages into one! This is honestly one of the most exciting books I’ve read in a while. At times I did find it to be a bit of a tongue twister, but the passion felt behind each piece was worth the read regardless. Cheyenne did an amazing job putting this together and I hope there is more to come from her in the future! One of my favorites: “i don’t fight when things slip away; then, i think of you, and, my goodness, pelearia con cada parte de mi mente y alma para mantener todas las cosas que siento when you are here when you are near cuando eres casi mio.” Excerpt from the poem titled ‘en pensamientos huecos’ (page 18 and 19)
