The book instantly grabs you and pulls you in from the beginning. . The way the book has been written you can't help but connect with the characters from the moment you start reading, and man does this Author know how to write of fear. Her descriptions will blow you away. I would recommend "Lessons from an evil mind" to men and women alike. It has everything anyone could be looking for in a story.

The first half of the book is definitely more of the horror genre, but after that turns into a wonderful and fascinating love story. I found myself unable to put the book down as with every page I had to see what would happen next. The way the book was written, throws you into the story and refuses to release you.

There are times when you come across a new Author that "Wows" you. This was one of those times. There were a few misspellings in the book, but the overall content of the book made those disappear. This book made me cry, laugh, get angry and would not let me go. I love the Characters and everything about the book.I will admit some parts were disgusting, but after reading the book I understood why they were there, which made the book that much more interesting. I will add this book to my permanent library and now await the second part of the series to come out.I recommend this book and look forward in reading more works from this Author. She has a new fan,

I found this story to be very interesting and thrilling. For some it may be a little disturbing or gross, but for those who like horror, they will love it. I have and will recommend this book to others. Great plot, Great characters and a fresh writing style. Editing was not bad. I will read the series and greatly anticipate it. Two thumbs up!

The book had a fantastic plot. Needed a better editor. The writing was a bit sloppy. There were many mispelled words, and several phrases and sentences that just didn't make sense. If that's overlooked though, it was a good book.

Initially the first hundred pages or so were very hard to slog through. I am not squimish when it comes to violence in books by any means but I found 100 straight pages of horribly graphic torture and violence with no sign of letting up distasteful. Once the plot actually progressed past that I couldn't put it down. I was entranced by what would happen next and wanted to see the main character succeed in escaping and moving on to a happy life. Unfortunately the end of the book completely backtracked and ended up right back in the same slog we started in. But that ending was supposed to entice me to read the sequel, yet I have no plans of doing so since I suspect it will end the same depressing way as this. My biggest problem with it was the editing, there were very obvious spelling errors and things that a simple read-through would have solved.
