Really good story. Exciting and fun to read. I love this family and the other stories with them in it also. I especially love Helene and her family and their rescuing wildlife. Totally cool.

This is the fourth book in The Barrington Billionaires series and I think it is my favorite so far. I absolutely love the Barrington's, a broken family that seems to be healing themselves, one story at the time. Andrew Barrington has always been in the background where his family is concerned, he is a Marine, only he did not reenlist this time. He came home a broken shell of himself, thinking that there was no help for him. He accepts a mission of sorts from his brother, and ends up going to Aruba. That is where he meets Helene Franklin, a beautiful young woman helping her uncle in a clinic there. Andrew doesn't realize until it is too late that his questions could put Helene in danger, but he vows to protect her with everything that he is. This is a fantastic emotional book loaded with suspense, romance, family, friends and PTSD. Once I started this book I did not want to put it down, and I cannot wait until the next book in this wonderful series.

WOW Ruth has done it again! I Love this series! This family and how it ties to the cross over books ! Andrew and Helene meet under a crazy set of circumstances. Andrew feels like he is broken beyond repair and how could he ever truly love someone when he doesn't even like himself . Helene is innocent but tough as nails and says what she thinks and feels . She is trying to understand what happened with her uncle and the past and how it ties to Andrew and his family . Andrew is not sure how to tell his family what he learned and how will the feel when they find out that Helene's family is tied to the past. Come join the ride as all these answers come to light ! I LOVE these families and can not wait for more!

Andrew Barrington grew up in a wealthy dysfunctional family. He joined the Marines as a way to escape. Twelve years later he decides not to reenlist due to a mission gone wrong that has left him with his own demons and PTSD. To appease his brother he heads to Aruba to try to uncover the details of the dark family tragedy that happened and resulted in the death of one of his siblings at birth. Helene Franklin grew up in a close-knit family on an animal sanctuary that consumed her life and altered her plans for college. When her parents suggest she visit her uncle in Aruba for a much-needed vacation to find herself, she reluctantly accepts. After being in Aruba and enjoying herself for a couple of weeks, her Uncle suspects’ trouble is brewing at the clinic and asks Helene to work at his clinic and be his eyes and ears. Unbenounced to Helene, her Uncle is hiding important information. Information Andrew is looking for in the death of his brother. When the two meet the chemistry between them is undeniable. But Helene doesn’t trust Andrew. Andrew, on the other hand wants to protect Helene and keep her away from the danger she is facing. When her uncle asks Andrew to take Helene home to her parents to keep her safe when drama comes to a head in Aruba, the two are forced together in order to stay alive and to figure out how to fight the demons that plague Andrew and the consequences of Helene’s uncles hidden secret. Let it burn is a book that made me feel a lot of emotions. It made me feel sad, happy, at times made me laugh and had me rooting for a couple who needed to find each other. I loved that characters from other series made brief appearances in this story. As each Barrington sibling finds their happiness his family slowly is being brought back together from the tragedy that tore it apart. Thank you, Ruth for yet another amazing story about the Barrington Billionaires. I can not wait for the next book in the series.

As a long time fan of romance I tend to look for books that will entertain and let me escape from the real world for just a little while. Let it Burn lived up to and surpassed all expectations. Andrew and Helene are combustible and by the end of the story you feel like they are old friends and want more. Ruth Cardello has been one of my favorite authors for a few years now, she took a serious topic and added a touch of humor (one of the few authors who can be in a serious moment and add a line that will just make you burst out laughing), a personal feel that will leave you feeling like you are among friends, and enough heat and suspense to keep the pages flying by.

Another GREAT Barrington family book!! Andrew, the missing sibling that is suffering from PTSD alone because he doesn't believe anyone can help him meets a woman who faith and loyalty never wavers for the people she loves. Their story was inspiring! The way they each had to deal with their own guilt of situations beyond their control and the actions they took to do that. I was swept up in this story from the first page to the last. My favorite line "I don't know if I deserve the faith you have in me, but I'll spend the rest of my life trying to" had me swooning!!

The Barringtons are far from perfect but underneath the drama, scheming, heartache and secrets lies a bond of love that can't be broken. In death, Patrice continues to make an impact on the lives of many with her hateful actions. Let It Burn takes one step closer to some much needed answers, but within it's pages is a quest for redemption. With some help from friends both old and new, Ms. Cardello delivers a message of healing while building a love that was years in the making. Helene and Andrew were meant to find each other. All it took was fate, wisdom and danger to seal their connection.
