About the Author

Ron Stodghill is an assistant professor and director of diversity, workforce and small business development at Johnson C. Smith University. Stodghill is also an author and award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in such publications as The New York Times, Time and Business Week. Educated at the University of Missouri, Queens University of Charlotte, and Harvard University, where he studied as a Nieman Fellow, Stodghill is author of Redbone: Money Malice and Murder in Atlanta, and coauthor of No Free Ride, former U.S. Congressman Kweisi Mfume’s bestselling memoir.
