Lethal Action ( Danger in the Deep South - Book 1 ) By: Rachel Dylan Lethal Action is book one in Danger in the Deep South series. This is my first to read by Rachel Dylan, and it definitely want be my last, she has me hooked. Love the story and the characters, both were easy to follow. Ms Dylan weaves us a great thriller with lots of action, suspense, and romance starting right from the start. She grabs you at the start and don’t let go till the end. Love the two main characters Hope and Gabe. The characters are so real you feel like you are right there with them. There is so much action going on that Hope and Gabe don’t know who to trust. Can they trust each other? Can’t wait to read book two in Danger in the Deep south. I was given a copy of this book to read for my honest review.

This novel is a typical clean romance. It is in need of serious editing; there are many misspelled words and sentences that just don't make sense. The author has unfortunately followed the current trend of writing incomplete sentences and using a period in place of a comma.

Lethal Action by Rachel Dylan is the first book in the Danger in the Deep South series. Hope Finch is an overcomer. It’s just what she does. Climbing her way up to a successful career in law, she’s made it to second chair in a prominent corporate trial. The problem lies in her client and his involvement. What seems to be a simple breach of contract, has become a fight for her life. Gabe Marino is a FBI agent who cares deeply about his hometown. So much so, that he’s willing to fight off whatever powers may be in order to keep it safe. Leary of Hope, he prays she’s not part of the conspiracy. Unsure, he’s not taking chances. This is the first of Rachel Dylan’s books that I’ve read. I found Lethal Action to be a clean legal thriller with a touch of romance. I especially loved Gabe’s character because of his strength and faith. I look forward to reading more of her books and received this copy from the author in exchange for my honest opinion which I’ve provided here. https://wordynerdyblog.wordpress.com/2016-book-reviews/lethal-action-by-rachel-dylan/

I've read other books by this author and loved them so I knew I'd like this one too. I wasn't disappointed. Lethal Action was a great legal thriller with romance mixed in that I really enjoyed! The main characters are Hope and Gabe.Hope Finch is a 5th year associate for a New York City law firm who was given second chair on a case in a small town in Georgia. Gabe Marino is an FBI agent who lives in the town and noticed an increase in crime there. He's been working undercover to figure out who is behind it. Their cases over-lap so they work together and start to have feelings for each other. Their careers are the most important parts of their lives so they don't know how to deal with these feelings. Keeping things professional was much easier for them but keeping Hope safe was not. This was a very exciting novel with lots of twists and turns that I couldn't put down. The writing was excellent!Somehow the author was able to mix white-collar crime, FBI, faith, organized crime, lawyers, and court room drama and keep the story flowing without confusing the reader. If you like suspenseful books with romance this one has both so you won't want to miss it. I won this book in the RoomHate Giveaway from Romance Novel Giveaways.

This is the first book I've read by Rachel Dylan. This book is a riveting suspense filled novel. And I do mean suspense FILLED!! Rachel Dylan is now one of my favorite suspense authors. I read this is a day. Her writing will grab you from the go, escort you through the pages and strongly encourage you to seek out her other books. Full of surprises, mystery and finding what truly matters in life. God shows up in unexpected ways in Hope's life and she realizes that there is no conditions on His love and unlike humans He is completely reliable and His love is always a sure thing. "Lethal Action" is a must read!

This is the first book I have read by this author but it won't be my last. I was pulled into the story and the characters lives from the first pages, and it is a fast paced suspense story that kept me reading to see what could possibly happen next. The author certainly keeps you guessing and it had a ending that I didn't see coming. It is the perfect mixture of suspense, faith and romance that I certainly recommend. I am definitely looking forward to reading more by this author.

Lethal Action by Rachel Dylan is a legal thriller. Hope is an attorney in a New York firm that is working a case that sends her to small town in Georgia. Gabe is an FBI agent convinced that something sinister is happening in his hometown of Maxwell, GA. Hope and Dylan end up working together to try and find out who is after Hope and who is behind the criminal activity going on in his hometown. There is plenty of action and you start to wonder who you can trust. I really liked Gabe. Hope was a good strong character but bordered on stupid with one of her decisions. I am hoping this becomes a series and Caleb, the chief of police gets his own story.
