This is book 2 in the Blood Brothers series and it features Keith Jones and Anya Best. This very large, very alpha man is about as lost as they come. He needs her but doesn't yet realize it. This book is CRAZY good! Awesome story line with fabulous characters. This story played like a movie in my head. Tons of action from beginning to end. This book grabbed a hold of me and wouldn't let go till the last page.

Just like the first in the Blood Brother series this one is just as gritty, dark and takes you on a crazy ride twist and turns. This book picks up where the last one left off on the copper killer and we soon discover why this person is killing red headed women. Lethal Lies has so much going on if the reader didn't read the first book there is no catching up in this one because it starts off with a bang. Adding more characters than the first book which at times can get a little confusing and as if the author realized that she changed the story mid way though to focus on the two leads in the story and their romance. Leading the Copper Killer running around and their past catching up with the brothers. Which again you are trying to remember all the different characters which if readers are not careful you will get lost. The book has its sexy times, confession times and two lost souls who need each other. I can't wait to find out more about Dr. Isobel Madison and what will happen to her in the end. Each books add more details into the blood brothers lives along with bring others from her Sin brothers series which I didn't read. If you have read the Sin brother series this will add to your love of those books if you haven't just another characters in a long list that show up though out the book. This is a great series to get lost in for a couple of hours. Advance Copy from the publisher and Netgalley I can't wait to read the next in the series

The story was interesting and the suspense side was exciting but I did not like Heath and Anya together. Apart, the characters are good, but I didn't enjoy reading about their relationship, how it started, unfolded, and concluded. The series is great and Rebecca Zanetti is one of my favorite authors but this story was a miss for me. However, this won't stop me from reading future books in the series. I'm really looking forward to the next book. ***I voluntarily read a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and feelings are my own***

Heath and his brother s are still on the run from their past. Then Heath meets Anya and is very attracted to her. . So he goes with her on the hunt for a crazed serial killer. Heath’s non was killed by her abusive boyfriend and so a man hurting a woman is a big trigger for Heath and he sees the bruises on Anya and finds out the Copper killer who is a serial killer is after Anya. Then Heath feels instantly protective. Anya fights back against the serial killer as he is playing with her as she feels it is better than watching others die around you. Then Anya Announces on tv her engagement to Heath and she knows she is putting herself in danger. I couldn’t really get into this story but I didn’t realize it was part of a series . I am sure I would have liked it more if I had read the first book and I am going to try. Then I will redo the review. But for now…

This is a series that I have enjoyed with both the Blood Brothers and the earlier Sin Brothers series. It has both suspense and romance combined to make an awesome and fascinating read. This is very fast paced and kept me up very late reading.

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 4 1/2 As we learned from Deadly Silence (book 1) that Heath, Ryker and Denver are on the run from their past. A past that is slowly but surely catching up with them. In Lethal Lies (book 2) that past comes a knocking on their door. We learn a lot more about the Blood Brother’s past life and the people after them. We also get a few glimpses of the Sin Brothers, which I hope means we will see them again really soon. I enjoyed Heath’s story. While his past is heartbreaking he is the sweetest of all three of the guys. What tough guy saves a little bird :). I enjoyed Anya also. She is tough and smart. I am looking forward to Denver’s book. I do believe that his book is going to be a doozy. I hope that we will get the big show down between the Blood Brothers, the Sheriff and the Doc. Because the Sheriff and the Doc really need to go!!! Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley & Forever (Grand Central Publishing) in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and not a paid review.

lethal lies picks up where deadly silence left off, with heath, ryker, and denver are still on the run from cobb and madison and they're still searching for the copper killer and keeping their heads above water. anya best is at the center of the copper killer case. her fbi agent, loretta, dies trying to solve the case. she's got a background in criminal psychology and knows just how to push his buttons. and so when she announces that she's engaged to heath and the new location of his p.i. agency—conveniently close to the killer's latest attacks—on national television, well, she has a plan. anya pushes all of heath's triggers, or really the one, woman in danger. he can't stay away from her and she's right that she is the key to cracking the copper killer case. but as heath and his brother's dangerous past begins to close in on them and things with the copper killer escalate, the tension hits a breaking point—and all hell breaks loose. but the one thing that heath can focus on is keeping anya safe. she's gotten so far under his skin that there's no chance this fake relationship isn't becoming something real. even if it is insanity to connect with someone so viscerally when the world around them is blowing apart and coming together in the most horrific way. what anya and heath go through will leave physical and psychological scars, but in each other they find safe haven. their moments of connection might be the calm in the eye of the storm, but those moments are powerful, meaningful, life-changing. everything they endure leads up to what will be the thrilling conclusion to this series, twisted truths. i for one can't wait. **lethal lies will publish on may 16, 2017. i received an advamce reader copy courtesy of netgalley/grand central publishing (forever) in exchange for my honest review.

Lethal Lies is the second book in the Blood Brothers trilogy from Rebecca Zanetti. At heart this book is exactly the type of romance I love to read and the author built the suspense up perfectly to an explosive climax that had a few surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat. This is a spinoff series from Rebecaa Zanettis's popular Sins Brothers that I loved so very much. I love this new trio of brothers, Ryker, Heath and Denver. They're not broken but they're incredibly damaged. I can't help but fall in love with them and find joy in their finding strong women to give them hope. It was Heath's turn in this book and he found the perfect woman with Anya. The sexual tension grew hotter as they hunt for the seriel killer who targeted Anya and murdered her sister. Rebecca Zanetti built the the intricasy of the mystery as Heath and Anya tried to outwit the killer while staying just ahead of evil Doctor Madison and her henchman Sheriff Cobb. This book had action, mystery and passion aplenty. It also set up the third brother Denver for the next book. I can't wait for it.

3 - "Blood brothers for life." Stars. Rebecca Zanetti returns to the Blood Brothers series, with book two; Lethal Lies giving us Heath Jones’ story. He was more than aware of his trigger points, and she hit them all. This story literally picked up where its predecessor Deadly Silence left off, and as with this series and its predecessor (Sin Brothers) there are always two stories playing out, the bigger one regarding the boys upbringing, and the people involved in that, and the individual brother meeting and then getting together with his woman, around a secondary plot. For me this book is the weakest I have ever read from this author in all aspects(and I have read everything). "You and me, it was real, and I’m not letting you be another duckin’ failure in my life." I will be honest, if this hadn’t been written by Rebecca, I would have likely DNF’d it around the halfway mark. Reason being absolutely nothing of note or real relevance had happened in the bigger picture or between Heath and Anya by that point. The focus on the serial killer and Heath’s mommy issues pretty much killed the extremely tenuous connection between them, and whereas I expect growly, alpha male versus confident, sassy female, both characters seemed to be lacking in all of those attributes in this one. "I’ll do this with or without you." The book in general felt too long, especially when you take into account that the bigger part of the story with Cobb and Madison has pretty much not moved at all by the end of it, what is a 400 page book for me could have easily been edited down to 250 pages without losing what was going on, but making the pace a little more digestible. "It’s time to stop running. We’re ready." Another gripe, was the lack of sexy-times, this is an author who excels at building the heat and tension between her couples, but nothing really happened until the second half, and I think due to the lack of any real chemistry between the pair, what did occur just felt a little pedestrian to me and almost disconnected to the rest of the story between them. "Somethings coming and soon." On the plus, the banter between the brothers seemed to be the only thing that was of the usual high standard, but the author needs to make sure that Denver’s book Twisted Truths, when it’s released in November finally ties up everything that has been going on since the beginning of the Sin Brothers series, and tie off everything that has been happening with all the characters that have hitched onto the wagon along the way. I don’t think this is a series that has the legs to carry it on for as long as the authors Dark Protectors books (best series ever!). I am at that point where, as much as I love these characters (despite my disappointment this time) that they have all earned a well-earned rest, once Madison and Cobb have had their bottom's royally kicked of course!
