Going through a particularly tough season in life in accepting myself and deeply feeling Christ’s love for me (in my 30s!) has me reaching for any kind of support. Though geared toward younger girls and young women, my “stuck in my teens/20s heart” was calmed by this book and encouraged my continued work on self-acceptance and strengthening my relationship with Christ. Many topics addressed are what I’m working on in therapy, and it’s a relief to know I’m not alone in a lot of the struggles we all face - and to have some tactical ways to gradually make changes for the better! Being real is tough, but Natasha acknowledges the difficulty, suggests ways to work through it, and reassures that in the end it’s actually easier and feels better. Well done!
