Issued on Richard Baluyut's own Remora label, Versus' six-cut opening salvo is the group's most viscerally exciting work; although the sameness of the production prompts the record to wear out its welcome by the closing "Sea Girl," much of Let's Electrify! is tense and wonderful -- in particular, both the slow-burning "Noogie" and the dive-bombing title track rank among the trio's very best work.
