What makes me qualified to write such a book or offer such advice?
I come from the mean streets of Detroit, Michigan. I have been shot, stabbed, so ill that I was knocking on death''s door. I have had health issues that had me confined to the floor for months at a time. I dropped out of high school, became homeless, and have been incarcerated several times. Struggling to find myself for over twenty20 years of my forty-six46 year existence, I made a choice to change.
My decision to change came when I hit rock bottom mentally during my last prison sentence. In 2004, I received a forty-six46 year sentence. By 2015, the judge I went in front of was so impressed by my 180 degree turn around that he released me. I wrote this book expressing and explaining what it took for a person like me with a checkered past to become successful.
I obtained my G.E.D., eEarned my Aassociate''s and Bbachelor''s Ddegree, and found what my passion is: inspiring others to reach their full potential. I have written several books, but this is the one I''m most proud of. I hope you enjoy reading this, as much as I did writing it.
