Joanne Michaels, a former editor at St. Martin's Press and formerly editor in chief of Hudson Valley Magazine, is a journalist and author of several books including The Hudson Valley & Catskill Mountains, Hudson River Valley Farms, Hudson River Towns, Hudson River Journey, and Famous Woodstock Cooks. Her byline has appeared in several national magazines. She lives in Woodstock, New York where she is an editorial consultant and president of JMB, a publisher/distributor of regional titles.
