This book shows and tells extally the way nadia felt when she was doing and what happened. this book tells children amounts of things not just on gymnastics but on life. if you were to write down all the facts on paper you would go threw atleast 5 pages. this book was great and i encourage every kid to read it even if they don't like reading and don't like gymnastics.

After reading a book by another gymnast, this book was a disappointment in comparison. It did offer interesting information on life in Romania and how Nadia was treated, but I felt she contradicted herself throughout the book; she had no choices in life, then saying we all have choices. Nadia also seemed to speak down to those interested in her life and "assumed" how others feel or what they thought. Interesting book but not what I was hoping for.
