Overview

The collection begins with a brief look into the perspective of a little girl and her ailing mother in "Thank God And Be Grateful". Next is the previously published short "The Liar" told from a bona fide, true-to-life Liar. In "No Eyes, No Mouth", a man attempts to find a cure for his sister's strange condition. In the short, "How My Fantastic Farm Animals Recycle Their Waste", fantastic creatures do very ordinary things. In a coming of age story told from the perspective of a military brat a young man faces challenges and first love in "Bully And A Girl". "Intimacy" is another coming of age story about hormones, girls, and being a military kid caught in the middle of it all.

This book contains some very cool, highly entertaining, pleasantly unexpected stories. I am not usually a fan of scifi, but I could not stop No Eyes, No Mouth until the end. It contains a very interesting twist. My favorite story was Intimacy with Bullies & A Girl being a close second. Both are heartfelt coming of age tales that really take you back. These stories left me wondering and wanting more. Even though they were short stories, there is definately potential for full books. I'd recommend this book for anyone who likes to read stories that you CAN'T predict the end of.
