About the Author
TANYA BASTIANICH MANUALI received her PhD in Renaissance art history from Oxford University. In 1996 she started Esperienze Italiane, a travel company that arranges food, wine, and art tours to Italy. She also coauthors cookbooks with her mother, Lidia; manages Lidia's product line; and serves as the cultural and art consultant for the art series. She lives on Long Island, New York.

I've made the Risotto with vegetables twice. The traditional rice and chicken was incredible. It was beautiful and delicious. My kids gobbled it up. I prepared the shrimp in the scampi style for company and it was a big hit. This cookbook is quickly becoming a favorite.
Gave Lidia's newest book as a Christmas gift. A long-time fan of Lidia, she was thrilled with new recipes and has already tried several of them. Great cookbook for yourself or for someone who loves to cook!
