"Jan pours out her heart on every page of "Life After the Storm." Once I began turning the pages, I didn't want to stop. Her story is compelling. Her grief unimaginable. Yet through that pain and grief, God met her and took her on a life-transforming journey. Jan takes the reader with her, connecting her reader's heart to God's Word in a way that makes it understandable and practically applicable wherever she is in her own life. This book is a treasure. How God carried Jan through a parent's worst nightmare using His living and active Word gave me a hunger and thirst to want more of what she found ... more of God and His Word in my life."

This is one book you will have a hard time putting down. It is heartfelt, encouraging, challenging, inspiring all wrapped into one. The powerful testimony the author shares about losing her son James suddenly and coming out on the other side with a great sense of purpose and a heart full of Jesus is a message of hope and unfailing love. Jan has an anointed gift to communicate God's word and his message to the audience in a powerful and practical way. This is one book that you want to add to your list.
