Life Lessons (Life Lessons Series #1) by Kaje Harper

Tony Hart's life has been quiet lately. He has good friends and a rewarding teaching job. Then the murdered body of another teacher falls into the elevator at his feet, and Tony's life gets a little too exciting.

Jared MacLean is a homicide detective, a widowed father, and deeply in the closet. But from the moment he meets Tony's blue eyes in that high school hallway, Mac can't help wanting this man in his life. However Mac isn't the only one with his eyes on Tony. As the murderer tries to cover his tracks, Mac has to work fast or lose Tony, permanently.

Wow! Life Lessons by Kaje Harper was a ride and a half. What more can you ask than a Hot Detective, a Hot young Teacher, a murder or two. Very fun yet intense. I will most definitely be reading the entire series.  Must find out more about Mac and Tony. Kaje never lets the readers down.

I loved every book and like a good thing I did not want to end. :( I would love Mac get hold of Jack and see that he have at least one person from his family to be ok with him and his family .

Wow what a fantastic story! I immediately fell in love with the character and cant wait to read more about them. This is a well written novel and its full length so you don't feel cheated. Highly recommended.

What a great story! I love the way Harper writes. She balances the characters total lives (romance, family, friends and work) so well I feel like I really get to know them and the books are novel length so nothing feels rushed. I fell in love with the MC's and was kept riveted to their story. I started this series on the long Thanksgiving weekend - thank goodness since I could not put the books down!!

A love story that builds and is believable. The fears and caution is so real. Loved the characters sweet, strong and vulnerable. It is a HFN thank goodness there are sequels.

You had best of both worlds. Suspense and Romance. Two of my favorite genres. Loved the story line...and the characters. Sometimes it dragged on but then somethong happened where it got me reading stright through. Its about 600 nook pages. There was a part of the story that was a little unreal because if the happened to me i dont think i could go the next day and try to act normal. But it was good. So its worth you money.
