About the Author
The arts helped me find a community where I felt I belonged. Art has also been a way for me to feel connected to a mother I didn't really get to know while writing was a passion I could share with my father.
It all started in 2nd grade, with the bring your parents in to class to talk about their careers. I was so proud of my dad, that I wrote a story about my hamster Snowy. My first and certainly will not be my last.
