Life More Abundantly and Other Powerful & Empowering Works by Ms. Honey Angela Williams

Life More Abundantly and other powerful & inspiring works, is a book of poetry, written by Honey Angela Williams, a Christian, African-American woman. Honey began writing poetry in 1997, to express several painful experiences she had over a 2 year period (a collapse of a marriage, toxic dating as a single parent, race issues, the death of her mother, and a corporate downsizing). The title of the book shares the title of the last poem, written to describe Honey's experience with homelessness as a child. This book will reach and empower others in their journey through life to realize that no matter the circumstances, it is possible to have life more abundantly. The poems are relevant to a wide audience of people.

About the Author

Honey was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 28, 1959 to Geraldine and Nathanial
Pickron. She is the sixth of seven children and has five sisters and one brother. She lives in
Indiana, is divorced, and has a 17 year-old daughter and a 42 year-old stepson.
This is her first book of poetry. Her prose promises to be thought provoking and humorous.
They are called "works" because some of them are more like small stories, than poems. The works are about real life challenges in her life (race, love, society, relationships, feelings, church,
Christianity, drugs, her testimony: "Life More Abundantly," and her daughter.)
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from LaSalle University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, with a concentration in Finance and Marketing.
She has worked in banking, corporate America, non-profit organizations, and universities. At the time of this printing, she is the Assistant Director of Alumni and Parent Relations at the
University of Evansville. She has held positions in Admissions and Financial Aid Counseling,
Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Global Sourcing, Market Research, Community Relations, and
Alumni and Parent Relations.
She is a Deaconess at her church, Faith Temple COGIC, and has held several positions. Currently, she is on the Finance Team, a Sunday School Teacher, a Missionary Speaker, Praise Dance Coordinator, and Praise and Worship Team member. Honey volunteers in the community, when Kingdom Building opportunities arise.
