It's rare to find an exercise and nutrition book that stands apart from the rest. But it's nearly impossible to find one where the author clearly lives by what they have written. Dr. Life's book is more than just a book -- it's a manual for healthy living! Nutritional information? Check! Exercise plan? Check! A Plan to optimize those efforts through medical science? Check! And most importantly, the reader gets to pick and choose which parts of the book, if not all, meets the reader's individual needs and goals. This is the first diet and exercise book that I literally could not put down! Dr. Life's personal journey is an inspiration. The straightforward manner in which he presents it is appreciated. In fact, all of the information is presented in a way that easy to read and even easier to understand -- it just makes sense! And I love the photos of Dr. Life himself demonstrating the various exercises that are recommended -- nice touch! If you are looking for a no nonsense approach to healthy living, then this book is for you. No fads, no special equipment to buy, no false promises to lose 20 pounds in 20 days -- just a prescription for life from Dr. Life.

Dr. Life's plan is easy to read and understand. The eBook edition has some formatting problems with some of the tables, but nothing that would keep the reader from understanding the information being presented. The book should be read by men over 50 that want to lose fat, especially belly fat, and get themselves into what could be the best shape of their life. The plan gives you diet and exercise instruction to get you into shape to live a long and productive life.

Very helpful in so many ways. Following the advice from the book i started taking multivitamins again with clearance from my MD. Day 2 of taking the supplements, i could work through the afternoon without feeling tired or sleepy!
