Dr. Denise Morett is a psychologist with a private practice in the Hudson Valley of New York State, where she has practiced for over 25 years. She maintains a general psychology practice helping children, teens, and adults, and also consults at local hospitals, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Dr. Morett has treated patients with a large variety of presenting issues inclusive of depression, anxiety, PTSD, bereavement, marital issues, childhood conditions, and families with a member facing a life-threatening or serious medical issue. She has spoken to large groups and provided workshops and trainings, as well as taught at local schools and colleges. She listens and provides a safe space as well as coping strategies for many patients and families with a member that has a serious or life-threatening medical issue. Dr. Morett ironically found herself in those exact circumstances when her son was diagnosed with a very rare life-threatening series of tumors. That began the most challenging, life-changing years of struggle. Driven by her wish to find more supportive information and coping strategies, LIFELINE provides the resources she needed at that time and in the years that followed.
