Overview

Charley Pepper "Chilly" to his friends, is an aging retiree looking for purpose in his life after the death of his wife. About the Author

Kelly King grew up in the Pittsburgh suburb of McKeesport, PA. While attending Dickinson College, he indulged his love of literature courses, despite obtaining a degree in Economics. With an MBA and CPA, he advanced in the finance ranks in the insurance industry, along the way participating in two IPOs, numerous acquisitions, and a few start-ups. For the past 25 years, he’s been involved in entrepreneurial activities, primarily in the Tampa Bay area. In his free time, he enjoys trekking with his fellow “Geezers” and spending time with family. Kelly and his wife, Michelle, split time between homes in Fanning Springs and Flagler Beach, Florida. In his sixties, he finally achieved his goal of publishing a work of fiction, LIFESAVER.
