Hearts in Motion (Rescued Hearts) by Edie Ramer
Take two cats, a dog, and a determined woman...

Animal lover Abby Pimm isn't looking for love. With two rescue cats, one rescue dog, a struggling business, and her fourteen-year-old sister to raise, she's got her hands full. What she needs is an angel - though she'll settle for the devil if he'll invest in her fledgling company and keep it afloat.

Add a six-year-old girl...

Wealthy businessman Holden Ramsay is no devil. He's doing all the right things, and when he's forced to care for his ex's six-year-old daughter, he ends up hiring Abby as a temporary sitter - a woman who lights up his damaged heart, and perks up other organs as well. A woman who might be his redemption...or his downfall.

Who's rescuing who?

The animals that Abby rescued think maybe it's time they do a little rescue work of their own--because sometimes humans in love can be so dense...

Tuesday's Child (Psychic Visions series) by Dale Mayer
What she doesn't want...is exactly what he needs.

Shunned and ridiculed all her life for something she can't control, Samantha Blair hides her psychic abilities and lives on the fringes of society. Against her will, however, she's tapped into a killer--or rather, his victims. Each woman's murder, blow-by-blow, ravages her mind until their death releases her back to her body. Sam knows she must go to the authorities, but will the rugged, no-nonsense detective in charge of tracking down the killer believe her?

Detective Brandt Sutherland only trusts hard evidence, yet Sam's visions offer clues he needs to catch a killer. The more he learns about her incredible abilities, however, the clearer it becomes that Sam's visions have put her in the killer's line of fire. Now Brandt must save her from something he cannot see or understand...and risk losing his heart in the process.

As danger and desire collide, passion raises the stakes in a game Sam and Brandt don't dare lose.

The author(s) of the second book is an incredible writer. I couldn't put the book down. Fascinating insight into the workings of a psychic and a serial killer. I enjoyed the overtones of the detective's mother and his blossoming attraction to Sam to help lighten the heaviness of the gruesome subject matter. I also appreciated the aithor's attempts to show the intimate understanding and emotional depth of the psychic. Very rarely do we see and feel so clearly the agony of life as a psychic. It always is glamourized on tv but in real life must be hell. Thank you this excellent writing and compelling subject matter.

I don't really like cat stories. I always wondered why the heck anyone would want to read a series about cats, but l kinda like your Prologue. However, it was very short. Sometimes short and to the point is good, however you could have made this part a little longer ad added more detail. The Prologue does have a good hook though. You also need to capitalize your "i's". Try pressing the lowercase "L" as a replacement for a capitol "i". You can't tell the difference.<br> &#8604 Example &#8605<br> &bullet Regular Capitol "i" &#8605<br> &#160&#160&bullet "I"<br> &bullet Lowercase "L" replacement &#8605<br> &#160&#160&bullet "l"<br> "Il" see you can't tell the difference between those two.<p> ~&#167&#1108&#1026 &#25282
