A feminist meditation book written with a light touch, but a deep politic. In the words of feminist philosopher Mary Daly, " It is a work of burning, uncompromising vision and daring... a beacon of hope in these chilling times of compromise, timidity and apparent defeat. This book is Pure Fire."

One of the three books I'd never, ever, be without! I can choose among 100 meditations, each a page or two, and unerringly, I am restored to sanity, refreshed, renewed and redirected! For example, in the meditation entitled 'Compromise', I learned about the high price paid by Matilda Gage, early 1900 Suffragette, who, despite the loss of dear women friends, remained committed to her own ideas. Every meditation so motivating! Eleanor Cowan, author of : A History of a Pedophile's Wife
