On summer vacation, Lil' Tex visits the Alamo under protest-he wants to see something more fun than a smelly old museum. Much to his surprise, he is thrown back in time to the actual days before the Alamo was lost to the Mexican General Santa Anna. Lil' Tex relives the siege of the Alamo and learns to love history when he sees it through the eyes of the heroes who lost their lives in defense of their beloved Texas. Lil' Tex Visits the Alamo is the first book in the Lil' Tex Books series based on Texas History. Learning about the Battle of San Jacinto will be Lil' Tex's next adventure.
