Tegan Ellis storms the Hudson River mansion of negligent mine owner Sean Griffith intent on nobly sacrificing herself to her mining reform cause. Her plan to blackmail the despicable industrialist into making much needed mine improvements goes hopelessly awry, however, when her adversary reveals his scandalous... and very private... art collection to her. One glimpse at a painted mural and the romantic eighteen-year old virgin is overcome with lust.

And inspiration. Throwing caution to the winds, she tosses her legs in the air. Sean Griffith never stands a chance. Tegan ravishes him on the spot. On several spots, to be exact. Then, Sean discovers Tegan's extortion scheme...

Revenge is sweet. In this instance, it's naughty too.

Lilac is a Victorian America BDSM story in which a virginal eighteen year old heroine falls in love with an older coal mine owning former boxer whom she initially intends to blackmail so that he will agree to improve working conditions at his mine. Catching on to what he sees as the heroine's scheming, the hero will only agree to improving conditions at his mine if the heroine will agree to become his whore and submit to all of his dominant sexual needs. After doling out the requisite amount of physical pain and humiliation to the heroine, the hero admits in a rushed and unsatisying confession near the end of the tale that he is in love with the heroine and has loved her since the day he first set eyes on her. This is most definitely a BDSM story, so expect little in the way of emotional exchanges or spicy sensuality.
