I loved this play. Rodgers and Hammerstein do not to it justice in their adaptaion "Carousel"I would love to see this play as it appears in Ferenc Molnar writing.

As a theatre buff I've used many monologues from this show. When you read it, you'll recognize it immediately. Its the original non-musical version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. It tells the story of a carousel barker who falls in love with a common girl. It shows the beauty of love, and the horrors of physical abuse. Enjoy!
