Lily of the Valley by Sarah Daltry was surprisingly good.  A really emotional read.  It is nearly the same events and time frames from Forget Me Not, but written from Jack's POV.  Terrifically done.  An amazingly insightful peek into depression and salvation.  Really loved this one!

I had already read Forget Me Not so I thought I knew what to expect with this book.   Boy was I wrong, with it being told in Jack’s POV you can really understand all the hurt that is his life.   I loved getting such a great picture of Jack.   This book goes into a lot more details of his life and I couldn’t help but just want to jump in the book and help soothe Jack.   I loved that you were able to see his side of what was going on from his perspective. I assume some people will shy away from this book thinking that it is the same story as FMN but I disagree.   While they both are the same story line they both offer such different insight as to both Lily and Jack!

**JUST BOOKED received an ARC for an honest review** AMAZING, Lily of the Valley is simply the BEST Point of View Romance Novel I have EVER read! Lily of the Valley can be read as a standalone novel, but I highly recommend reading Sarah Daltry’s Flowering series. The prequel novel in the series is, Her Brother’s Best Friend, which tells the story on how Lily and Derek relationship commence. Forget Me Not is the second novel and it is about Lily and Jack, but the third in the series is Lily of the Valley that is Jack’s point of view.  Even though both novels had similar events, the author gave the reader an inside glimpse of Jack’s life and the turmoil he was living while Lily was discovering what she wanted in Forget Me Not.  In Lily of the Valley the author gave the reader new information to piece Jack as a character in which I never expected while reading the novel and was anticipating where Jack was going to lead me in his life to understand his feelings. I discovered Jack was not only the badass tattooed boy with panty dropper smile and smart-ass mouth, but someone trying to think differently about Lily and maybe of the possibilities that he could have a princess of his own even though he struggles with his dark world and broken pieces of his life. Jack wonders if he can ever be the boyfriend Lily needs for him to be, so he can have her in his life. Author Sarah Daltry’s romance novel, Lily of the Valley, is the third novel in the Flowering series and my favorite on the series. Lily of the Valley is a beautiful love story about two people struggling to discover themselves as individuals and as a couple, but will their different worlds keep the apart? I rate Sarah Daltry’s novel in the Flowering Series, Lily of the Valley - 5 AMAZING STARS!

I didn't think I could fall any more in love with Jack when I read Forget Me Not but reading this book with his POV has made me love him that much more. Yes he is all kinds of messed up but I am so glad Lily picked him and didn't give up on him. For me everything seemed sexier reading Jack's POV. I loved being able to read what he was feeling and how he perceived everything. This is a fabulous series from Sarah Daltry and I can't wait to read more from this series. This is a great read and even though it comes after Forget Me Not you don't have to read them in order! Even though I scored this as a 5 star review for me it ranks as a 10 star book and is a MUST read!

Have you ever just LOVED a character in a book, not just because they are sweet, rich, and handsome, along with all the other fantasy characteristics that we all love in our ‘Book Men’…but what about the characters that are REAL, they have real problems, real emotions, real life tendencies…these are my favorite kinds of characters and that is why I love Jack! Lily of the Valley shows us the side of Jack that we did not get to see in Forget Me Not. We get to hear his point of view, how he feels about Lily and what is really going on in his life when Lily is not present. I fell in love with Jack even more in Lily of the Valley. Jack is a broken young man that thinks he is worthless and is incapable of being loved, so he thinks. However through Lily of the Valley we can see that Jack is so much more than a dark, bad-ass bass player; he is sweet gentle kind soul that wants to be loved as much as he wants to give into loving someone. What I truly enjoyed about both Jack and Lily’s stories is that the characters are real, they are struggling with real life issues that many people all over the world can relate too, such as depression, anxiety, happiness, sadness, anger, confusion, etc. I think that this story will touch a lot of lives and for those who have already read this story understand what I mean, most of us can relate to Jack in one form or another. Okay and lets not forget the fact that the sex scenes are HOT & STEAMY! If I have not said this so many times in the past ~ READ THIS NOVEL, I promise it will not disappoint!

Well written and painful in parts. It's really hot but at the same time it's so sad. The ending is beautiful though.
