Lip Service is a book of poetry from a woman's perspective. It expresses the way women feel, think, say, and the way they interpret life. The poetry in this book motivates women in any situation to choose the best resolution for a crisis. Lip Service discusses emotions, love, life, wealth, pride, career, family, friends, enemies, trials and tribulations, religion, tragedy, sex, happiness, acceptance, isolation, enjoying oneself and the company of others, marriage, divorce, abuse, and other aspects of a woman's experience. Lip Service also accommodates the male audience, giving them a chance to see what women really think and feel. The poems are therapy for the females, because they can feel that they are not alone. Lip Service uses a creative style of word-of-mouth. Brittany N. Bush's goal is to get the word out and for the world to hear it. She is an upcoming poet and author, who has featured in the 2006 edition of the Timeless Treasures book of poems, received the 2006 Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry (poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry), and was selected to be featured in two more books of poetry for poetryamerica.com and famouspoets.com.

'Lip Service: Book of Poems' is an outstand ing book of poetry. It hits on subjects that we, as females, can relate to. My favorite poem in the book is 'My Worth'. It just hits home for me and a situation i went through. I want to congratulate this author for being real and not sugar coating the truth about how most women really feel in certain situations. Great book!
