Overview

The thoroughly updated Eighth Edition of the top-selling NCLEX-RN® review reflects the current NCLEX® test plan and contains more than 5,000 total test questions—including new alternate-format questions—to help students practice taking the exam. Organized by practice area—childbearing family and neonate, child health, adult medical-surgical, and psychiatric-mental health—the book contains more questions than any other NCLEX-RN® review, and includes more pharmacology-related questions. The author clearly explains the rationale for correct and incorrect answers. Five comprehensive tests resembling the format of the NCLEX-RN® are also included.

A back-of-book CD-ROM includes more than 1,000 questions, plus a free sample of the PDA download for handheld devices.

This edition is also available for PDAs. See PDA listing for details.

I passed NCLEX on my first try with the help of this book. it assisted me a lot how to analyse and answer the difficult questions during the examination. well,I just answered 75 questions in 2 hours but I'm not saying that it was easy,no..it's difficult but I made it...Read the book from cover to cover, paying special attention with the rationale on answer keys..don't skip, you don't want to miss a thing...concentrate on the book and spend a week with the CD, you'll be in good shape and track.

This book is excellent! I used it to help me get through OB/GYN. I started the class with a D and ended up with a B because of this book. I am using it now to study for the NCLEX as many folks have told me that they have used this book to study for it and passed the first time!!

I truly recommend this book. The questions are 'nursing school type' of questions. They helped me with my med-surg. class. Highly recommended.

This book was the only book that I used to prepare for my NCLEX exam. I also bought it earlier in the year to use to study for my med-surg, ob-gyn, and pediatric testing. It has great questions and rationales. I just graduated this May, and use the CD-rom from the book to study for NCLEX. I passed my first attempt for the NCLEX in June!!!!!! Highly recommend as a study guide for those college test, and for NCLEX.
