This travel book is essentially a New England literary history which includes details that add to our understanding of the authors associated with this region. Corbett wisely notes connections through details that only a writer and New Englander at home with the region could present. Those interested in literature, New England, and travel will appreciate this highly engrossing and readable guide book.
