This travel book is essentially a New England literary history which includes details that add to our understanding of the authors associated with this region. Corbett wisely notes connections through details that only a writer and New Englander at home with the region could present. Those interested in literature, New England, and travel will appreciate this highly engrossing and readable guide book. Reading the book is nearly as enjoyable as re-visiting New England. - Daniel Picker
