I found the hats & scarves wonderful, lately so many hats patterns seem outlandish it was great to find these..I love the cards instead of a book and the magnetic closing box was great too...The best patterns I have purchased in a long time
I had read the previous review while looking for new patterns and didn't think much about getting this set. Then I ened up receiving this as a gift and it is wonderful! I love the designs - there's something for everyone! Also, the patterns are on sturdy, laminated cards that I can take with me much more easily than a book, and if I forget to put it up at home my young daughter can't rip it up (like she's done with my other books)or douse it in apple juice! This was a great gift and I highly recommend it, just wish I'd gotten it earlier to get a jump on Christmas presents!
These are some of the worst hats I have ever seen. You find nicer hats for free on the internet. crochetpatterncentral has so many nice hat patterns. I really can't believe these authors are professional designers. There are 20 hats and 20 scarves to match. I was hard pressed to find a hat that looked like something anyone I know would wear. Most of the hats use expensive yarns but sow's ear is still a sow's ear.
