Little Elephant is angry. His big sister took all his bananas and his big brother called him a crybaby and kicked him! So Little Elephant decides to run away. It's a grand adventure at first, but when it starts to get dark, Little Elephant realizes he is lost and frightened and lonely. How Little Elephant manages to get home safely (with his pride intact) is a sweet story celebrating budding independence.
