Delighted to have this beloved book again. It is small~~ which is brilliant~~fits perfectly into little hands! The characters are charming and kindhearted-the adventurous little boy bear was a good role model for our two adventurous little boys. I wanted to make sure our children's children would have access to this classic story in the original, small Fur Edition. The picture on the screen is of the box which holds the book~~ which confused me alot. But I took a chance~ inside is the book clothed in faux fur, just like our original. Thank you!
My copy of this book is extra small and has a furry cover, to match the Little Fur Family themselves. This story does not have tons of content, but children delight to read through the miniature sized book to read about a very sweet miniature sized family.
Enchanting little book. I loved reading it as a child and the furry cover is irresistible. Now 25 years old, I recently read it to my bunny before he passed away, the end of the book reads: "Sleep, sleep, our little fur child, Out of the windiness, Out of the wild. Sleep warm in your fur All night long, In our little fur family. This is a song." How wonderful that such a small little book could speak volumes to my heart.
this sweet little book was one of my daughter's favorites. We originally had the regular storybook edition, and it was a favorite - then we got this very sweet tiny edition with the furry covers - she loved it. She's 25 now, but I'm glad the book is still available - I frequently give it as a gift to young children.
A classic that will become your child's favorite, especially with the furry cover!
My boys are 21 and 18, they still say the line from the book, "bless you everytime you sneeze". When grandparents were in town, it made grandma cry, because she remembers reading this book at nap time almost every day when they were little. I am sure it will be something that is passed on to their children someday.
The story line and the detail art work make this book a marvelous first book for every child.... It will be a life long favorite.
Darling story, charming illustrations, and a soft furry cover! Great for baby's first book!
