That same year Rita Mitchell, a struggling photo-journalist, came to the islands of Portuguese Macau, bordering Mao's China coast, for photo stories of fleeing Chinese peasants. Her husband, a US Air Force bomber pilot, reluctantly agreed to help. She planned a quick sashay into Mao's China to grab photo-stories. Bad luck! Dr. Sung of the PLA Intelligence snagged both Rita and her husband, Mitch. The two were blackmailed to provide China a mini-version H-bomb carried by Mitch's bomber, a giant B-52. Rita is held in Canton as a blood hostage. Mitch is sent back to USAF crew duties to deliver. Instant death by bullets threaten if either betrays the PRC. To guarantee success, Beijing begins to pump in its unlimited, world-wide intelligence resources and raw power to aid Dr. Sung. Rita and Mitch face insurmountable obstacles. Each tries many ways to resist. They stumble but keep trying. Live bullets threaten Mitch. Rita endures lustful guards and the wierd sadistic appetites of Dr Sung. Can they solve their dilemma, preserve dignity and avoid treason against their ccountry?
