With a diverse cast and tons of suspense and emotion filled mystery, Sandra Schultz makes her writing come to life in Little Shadow, as it depicts the importance of perseverance. Filled with Shadows of love, fear, failure, and hope, the authors beautiful poetic nature  to her writing pulls on the heart strings of the readers as they enter on a journey with characters, capturing each and every moment of this thrilling story. A very good read that immediately captured my attention and drew me in!!! It is easy to relate to what the characters are going through as her words bring meaning and emotion to the pages/ i highly recommend this book and look forward to the next!

I was very excited to read this book! I heard down the grapevine, it was a fast, exciting, read. It is a story that takes past folklore and puts a present spin on it. There is a character and story that anyone can relate to and I personally was drawn to the character of Brenda and her struggles. I didn't realize this book was a trilogy and I was be anxiously waiting for Sandra to publish the second book. I think this book was wonderfully written, Great Job!

I read the book in four days. I could not put it down. One of the better books that I have read. The book is very well written. The characters are very well put together. You slowly learn about the seven main characters past in the book. How tight the town is and how everyone will know the main characters business. The book is very real with the characters and with real life. I did enjoy reading about most of the main characters of the book. The only one I did not like was Brenda, even at the very end. She never made up her mind, even after she sent the letter out to Billy. The situations that the characters get themselves in or out of are very true to real life. The ending made me tear eyed, the ending was very heart felt. How Billy does want he wanted though out the whole book. I cannot wait until I read the next one to see what happens.

S. L. Schultz really knows how to keep the reader's attention with this page turning novel. Many tales are beautifully woven together, and the author seems to have a keen awareness of uncomfortable realities and their effects--both good and bad--on those living in their grips. Little Shadow's characters have emotional lives that are often familiar, presented with compassionate honesty and fearlessness as Schultz bares their secrets and their souls. No soft pedaling here. The supernatural aspect of the novel is lovely, and seems somehow perfectly....natural. All in all this is an exquisitely told story that completely drew me in, from a very gifted author.

I thought the book was great. It had a bit of everything for everyone. The story was intriguing. the characters were memorable, and my emotional response was all over the map as I identified with the characters and their experiences. I found it hard to come to put down. I hope the author will come up with sequel.

I enjoyed this book immensely. Every element of a good, entertaining read was here, while still having a thought-provoking aspect, which I look for in fiction. Reads like a true story, as the characters are so real and relatable. Bravo to the author.
