Either you love or you hate it. Live Album by Grand Funk Railroad was a smash when released and those who loved it played it to death. A hard rock phenomenon of the waning days of the Sixties, Grand Funk proved over and over that they were the live performing act of the time, and this album is a testament to their in-concert power.

GFR LIVE is not just a trip down memory lane. You can honestly feel the energy from that live performance,on that HOT July.''Into The Sun'',the last song, still rocks. This album STANDS THE TEST OF TIME.
I was NOT a Grand Funk fan but....this live album is brilliant in it's raw intensity. From vinyl to CD I have always enjoyed it immensely. As a live band Grand Funk was fabulous. This performance captures a lot of the true essence of a tremendously spirited rock group. My only complaint with this CD is that it is not remastered. It should be. The sound quality is lacking and that is a partial distraction.
