Live Fearless is Margaret Feinberg's third coloring book. She is also the author of Live Loved and Live Free. Her coloring books combine scripture memorization, prayer journaling and coloring all in one fun book! The pictures are absolutely beautiful and each has a scripture that was hand picked to deal with the theme of the book. For example, if the theme is Live Fearless the scriptures will deal with trusting in the Lord and not giving in to fear. I love all of the beautiful pictures in this coloring book. They make you want to color. I had a hard time choosing just one to start with but I finally made my decision and got down to coloring. You can use the media of your choice. In fact, in the intro part of the book Margaret encourages you to let creativity fly and not worry about staying in the lines. The pages are thicker than most coloring pages to allow for markers or paint. I'm not that coordinated to try paint so I stuck with my trusty ole colored pencils. The fact that the verse is included into the picture makes it easier for me to memorize it. I repeat it often as I'm coloring flowers or borders or whatever. There is also a space on the previous page for you to journal you thoughts or whatever comes to mind. The pages are not perforated for you to tear out but I believe you could if you wanted. They would make beautiful wall art, but I'm going to leave mine so that the pictures and the journaling notes will stay together. It takes me several days to finish a picture. I don't believe they were designed to be completed in one sitting because there is so much detail, but you definitely could if you wanted. I have three children running around, so anytime I can snag 10 minutes or more, I try to use them coloring and journaling. Anyone, no matter their artistic talent, can enjoy this book. I don't normally like adult coloring books because the designs are too intricate or they make me dizzy. The designs in this book aren't like that. They do vary in degree of difficulty, in my opinion, but they never fill every blank space on the page. I didn't feel anxiety while coloring in this book as I have in some others, worrying that I'm going to mess up. I loved everything about the book cover to cover. From the intro to the very last scripture coloring page. I think they would make an excellent gift. In fact my mom may get all three for her birthday. Sshh! I was given a copy of Live Fearless by Bethany House publishers in exchange for an honest reveiw

I really like this adult coloring book. I have several coloring books, and this one is a favorite. I like the fact that not only is there the opportunity color, but there is also room for reflections in within the pages. Live Fearless is more than a coloring book, but also a place for me to journal about what fearless living looks like to me and the impact of the Scripture on my heart. Overall, the coloring book is well crafted with sturdy pages for different media to be used. There are more than a dozen illustrations and the artwork is beautiful. I received this book at no cost from the publisher to review.

The adult coloring book craze is coming into the Christian market, which I am very please to see. What I loved about this coloring book was the scripture given and woven into the coloring page. As you color you can mediate on the scripture. Then there is a page to journal as well. If you have been thinking about giving this new trend a try why not do it while focusing on the Word of God? A copy of this book was given to me by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

The designs in this book are a little more intricate than the ones in the book I previously reviewed. However this book was just as enjoyable and an experience of reflection of being fearless. The paper is great quality and the book well thought out and easy to work in. If you haven’t dipped your toes into the world of adult coloring books yet Ms Feinberg’s books will be a good place to start. This book provided to me by Bethany House free of charge for review.

This is the first adult coloring book that I have owned and I was skeptical I would enjoy trying to force myself to relax and spend time coloring. When I skimmed through the book, the beautiful layout and thoughtfully chosen verses of scripture touched me. As I colored and reflected on the scripture verse that correlated to the picture I worked on coloring, I found myself relaxing and feeling a quiet peace. I love how the scriptures verses are taken from various Biblical translations. The different translations add variety and a depth of understanding to familiar scriptures and fresh perspectives to consider. Feinberg has chosen powerful scriptures verses to help us understand that God is always ready and anxious to calm our fears and to help us feel peace in our lives. Live Fearless is a beautiful book to help us have a beautiful experience while we contemplate God’s words. Bethany House gave me a complimentary copy of Live Fearless by Margaret Feinberg for my candid review.

LIVE FEARLESSLY is a great new coloring book, journal by this talented author. I really love this adult coloring book craze, and I sat down and colored a few flowers last night - it is stress-relieving! I love the verses on the pages. The pictures are detailed, encouraging creativity. The only thing I really didn't like is that the markers we have in our house soak right through the page, marking up the side for the journal entries. I'd use colored pencils I think, since markers soak through. I'm not sure whether paint would soak through or not. I don't have any on hand. Some of the pictures are really simplistic, and others are more complicated, so there is something for all tastes. I don't really like the paisley type designs, but the simple flowers I loved. There is one that reminds me of the wild violets in our yard, and another of the dogwood trees in bloom. They are my favorites. A great coloring book for anyone, teen to adult. Recommended for nursing homes, shut ins, care packages for someone in the hospital or in therapy, and for those who just need a quiet moment to reflect on a verse of God's word without a book, TV, or movie distracting them. Each picture does contain a verse to mediate on. And plenty of lines to doodle, write your thoughts, prayer, or study on the opposite page.

The book begins with a couple of pages encouraging us not to be afraid and giving some scriptures that point us to trusting God and not turning to anxiety. It then has a how to use this book page and gives some ideas of different coloring mediums you can use, encourages you to be creative and then gives a hashtag so you can share your pages on Instagram. Each two page spread is set up the same way throughout the book. On the left you have a scripture at the top and then the rest of the page is dotted lines that you could journal on or draw on. The right side is the line drawing with the same scripture but it can all be colored in. Most of the drawings are portrait orientation but there are a few that are horizontal. Overall I like this coloring book and appreciate the scripture throughout. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: *Very nice weight to the paper. It will take a lot of different mediums well and if you didn't mind the bleed through of alcohol markers onto the dotted lined page you could even use them. The paper surface is great for colored pencils, gel and fine tip markers and even some light paint. *Having an entire page to do what you'd like with and make it meaningful to you is nice. *The illustrations are whimsical and sweet and have a consistent feel throughout the book. *There are 20 two page spreads so it's a nice length without feeling like it goes on forever. *Would make a really nice gift! Cons: *I personally don't care for some of the scripture translations used. *Some may feel an entire page for journaling or doodling is overwhelming. *Some of the drawings are very detailed and have very small spaces for coloring in. Other coloring techniques would need to be used on some of the designs. Overall I would recommend this book. I think it's a neat way to meditate on some scripture and be creative. **I was given a free copy of this book from Bethany House Publishing for my honest, unbiased opinion.
