Are You Overwhelmed by Stress, Worry, and Anxiety?
Unending daily to-do lists. The frantic pace of modern living. The race to stay relevant in the face of disruption. The very real threat of superbugs and terror in our everyday lives... It's not hard to see why so many people today are experiencing stress, worry, and anxiety attacks.
Unfortunately, these aren't simply innocent states of emotion-they can insidiously develop into chronic depression and psychosomatic illnesses, and lead to destructive behaviors. But here's the good news: While stress is depleting and debilitating, it can be defeated and driven from your life.
In LIVE THE LET-GO LIFE, Joseph Prince shows you how to beat stress and anxieties that come with the everyday demands and pressures of modern living. Discover how you were not designed by God to live under stress, but called to live the life of rest. You will learn how to let go of stress and see His grace flow unabated in the worry-free areas of your life.

Lots of eye-opening insights and scriptures. I was truly blessed.
I began reading Live the Let-Go Life with great anticipation and a heart open to Pastor Prince’s teachings. As a result, this book has been invaluable at a difficult time when I dearly needed to enter into God’s rest. At the same time I was reading the book, I was also following along with Joseph Prince’s sermons on television where he teaches on the same subject. It has been a blessing! I practice daily to release my cares to God. I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t benefit from this book, especially in the crazy, fast-paced world we live in. There are many passages I have underlined and written down to share with family and friends and to say in my own prayers. There are simple things you can do, simple prayers to pray, that can change your life and yet many don’t or won’t bother with them because they believe it’s just too easy. Thank you Pastor Prince! This book has opened up my eyes.
Many of us are struggling with stress, worry and anxiety with so many challenges in our world today. In Live The Let-Go Life by Joseph Prince, Prince uses Scripture and other stories to help readers learn to live free from stress, worry and anxiety and find a more fulfilled life in Christ. Some of the chapters in Live the Let-Go Life are: Just Look at the Birds, The Rhythm of Rest, Tune In to Peace, Above All Things, Guard Your Heart, Becoming a Person of Rest, and Stress-Free Parenting. Each chapter looks at Scripture related to the topic and Prince uses stories to illustrate how God has worked in other believer's lives. As a whole, I found Live the Let-Go Life to be uplifting and encouraging to me as I seek to live for God and deal with the every day stresses of life. I think there would be helpful information in this book for most people. Prince does encourage me to look to God as I face struggles versus giving in to worrying. However, if I am honest, I had some mixed feelings about Prince sharing some of the stories that he shared because it sounded like one had to listen to his sermons to really gain a blessing from the Lord. I doubt if he meant for it to come across this way. I am not usually a listener of Prince as we don't get him in our area on television, but I believe this book also goes along with a sermon series of the same title. In the back of the book, Prince lists the audio messages that correspond with the chapters so readers can listen to corresponding material in podcasts, and that may be helpful if you aren't a regular listener. If you are a regular follower of Prince, I am sure you will enjoy Live the Let-God Life. I received Live the Let Go Life by Joseph Prince from Faithwords/Hachette Book Group. Live the Let-Go Life: Breaking Free from Stress, Worry and Anxiety by Joseph Prince is a very helpful book for people who are overwhelmed by stress, worry and anxiety and have a desire to overcome it. This book provides true biblical answers to stress relief that can significantly help and improve the lives of readers who are willing to trust God and take the necessary action. I have to be honest, this is the first book that I've read by Joseph Prince and I wasn't sure what to expect initially. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy a read this book was. It's well structured, has a conversational tone and flows smoothly. Joseph not only shares Scriptures all throughout the book, but he even explores and examines the meaning of certain words and phrases. I truly enjoyed this aspect of the book, because it provided even more depth to the concept that he was presenting and explaining. His in-depth study of Matthew 6 was by far my favorite. I learned so much and have a much richer understanding of one of my favorite chapters in the Bible now. At times, he even shares personal revelations that God has given him. I found value in the unique perspectives that God unveiled to him and I'm glad that he shared them. Within every chapter of this book there are inspiring testimonies that others have shared with Joseph. These testimonies may not be appealing to every reader, but they are a great reminder of God's love and grace for His children. If readers enjoy the testimonies of others, they are sure to resonate with this aspect of the book. For readers like me, who aren't too interested in testimonies, they may become turned off by the sheer number of testimonies that are shared throughout the book. Overall, I found a lot of value in this book. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't lose interest in it after reading a number of chapters. It became predictable and some of the aspects that I enjoyed the most (in depth explorations of the meaning of words and phrases) began to decrease in frequency, while other aspects that I did not enjoy as much (testimonies) continued to increase throughout the book. This didn't bother me too much because I had other books to keep my interest while I took a break from this one, but it's important for readers to know that after awhile their interest level in this book may wane. There is no denying that this book delivers a powerful message that will resonate with many people. For those who are serious about taking action to rid their lives of stress, worry and anxiety this book can be an invaluable guide to finding and experiencing the rest in God that they seek and desire. I received this book free from the publisher through their book review bloggers program and I was not required to write a positive review.
