Overview

The interplanetary alien organization known as the AOIB receives a visit by the human called Andrew Lockeford. Although he and his race are a forbidden species, he is kept for study and trained to be a genetically-engineered soldier. Furthermore, Andrew mentions how he was abducted by the Selentors, an enemy to the AOIB, and how he escaped their grasp. As this story progresses, secrets are revealed, the division between good and bad fades into a blur, and the suspense tightens as problems only get worse. All the while, Andrew can't help but ponder over many things, such as artificiality, hypocrisy, the significance of the individual, and even the purpose of life.

About the Author

G. L. Argain is an ambitious college student taking writing as a new challenge to conquer. While living in a fairly small town in California, he was unsure whether any one job or hobby would every satisfy his idealistic expectations of happiness and success. However, after some revelations, he discovered that many things, such as mountain biking, writing, and engineering, could work in conjunction while fulfilling all of his interests. Now, he goes to school majoring in engineering as he works with the college's student government and tutors those desiring help with their English classes. On the weekends, he reads, writes, and goes on twenty-mile bike rides over the hills when he has the time.
