Overview

Chapter Seven begins with a fresh overview of the God-created man according to the Scriptures in opposition to the ideology and theory of evolution. We, believers in Christ, should never lose focus of who God is and what He is doing in this present age regarding the churches in Christendom according to His divine economy. God has an eternal purpose or plan to carry out His divine economy in His administration on this earth which has everything to do with the churches. As the churches approach the last seven years of this age (the last week), they will discover and continue to discover that Christ is the centrality and universality of God's eternal economy according to God's divine administration. In this Chapter the Lord is once again speaking to the churches that their eyes would be opened to see the true reality of their spiritual condition before Him. Moreover, in this chapter, the Lord desires to remove the veils of religious teachings, heresies, apostasies, with ideologies and theories of evolution to compel the believers to return to God's pure Word in the Scriptures. In like manner, the Lord is still calling the overcomers to depart from degraded Christianity with its pernicious teachings and theories and stand in oneness with Him that He may make His home in their hearts to abide and dwell in them. In this mutual abiding the believers urgently need to first abide in Him that they may have the growth in life progressed unto maturity. In this way the Lord can abide in them daily be their life, life supply and everything to them. Only in the mutual abiding with the Lord can the believers be His expression to close this age together with Him (John 15:4-7).
Furthermore, the Lord desires to open the books of Daniel and Revelation to remove our covering and enlighten us of the impending last week of the seventy-weeks of this age and how to prepare for this. There are two Charts portraying a vivid picture of the destiny of Israel allocated by God in Daniel and the destiny of the churches in Revelation. By studying these charts, the believers will have a deeper impression and revelation of the seventy-weeks concerning Israel (who keep the commandments of God) and the churches (with the testimony of Jesus) Revelation 12:17.
Moreover, this Chapter is a cogitative, in-depth study of God's eternal purpose in creating man and God's divine economy in His administration as it relates to the churches in the book of Revelation. To enhance this study, there are Life-Dispensing Questions to focus on each chapter. Beginning with Chapter 1, the Life-Dispensing Questions will appear at the end of each chapter respectively. These Life-Dispensing Questions are designed and quite appropriate for fellowship forums, Bible study groups, training groups as long as there are two, three or more gathered together in His communicable presence.

About the Author

The Shulammite is the feminine form of Solomon, derived from the root meaning peace. The use of this name here indicates that at this point she has become Solomon’s duplication, counterpart, the same as Solomon in life, nature, expression, and function, as Eve was to Adam (Genesis 2:20-23). This signifies that in the maturity of Christ’s life the lover of Christ becomes the reproduction of Christ, the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function (but not in the Godhead) to match Him for their marriage (2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 8:29).In the romance between the great king Solomon and the girl from the countryside, because the two did not match each other, the king became a “country man” in order to go to her village to court her, to gain her love. On the one hand, he made himself the same as the country girl; on the other hand, he made the country girl a queen. This is a type of the story of God’s romance with man. God as the Husband is divine, and the wife He desires to marry is human; the two do not match each other. To fulfill His heart’s desire God became a lowly man with humanity in incarnation, and He contacted man by the way of a romance. Then in His resurrection He uplifted His humanity into His divinity in the divine power according to the Spirit of holiness, and He was designated the Son of God in His humanity (Romans 1:3-4). Today He as the universal Bridegroom is the God-man, having both divinity and humanity. In order to make His bride, His wife, the same as He is, He regenerates His human elect, putting His divinity into their humanity and uplifting their humanity to the standard of divinity (1 Peter 1:3, 23; John 3:6). After regenerating them, He then transforms His loving seekers gradually in their soul, and ultimately He transfigures them in their body, until in their entire being they are the same as He is in life, in nature, in image, and in function, but not in His Godhead (Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:21; 1 John 3:2). The romance in Song of Songs portrays the process through which the seeker of Christ passes in order to become the Shulammite, a duplication of Solomon and a figure of the New Jerusalem. Revelation 21:2 “And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.”
