Living on the Edge of Heaven: The Humorous Exploits of a Boy, His Soul, and His Purpose by G Edward

A boy and his soul make their way together yet apart as they encounter life's great questions. The soul rests at the edge of heaven while the boy sleeps, and learns of God's gifts, plans, and mysteries. He rejoins with the boy to guide him to his purpose in life. But the boy is unaware of his soul and things don't go as planned. A humorous observation of how life is part of a fantastic creation yet inane. Driven or unfulfilled, meaningful or lost, he discovers how every moment counts. The boy grows to find life more complicated, more spiritual, and then discovers his soul and his purpose.

About the Author

Over a career spanning more than thirty years, G. Edward has worked as an engineer, a technical salesman, a general manager, a consultant, and a business owner. While technical writing during his earliest years as an aerospace engineer, his creative prose caused both trouble and success. After a full corporate career, he moved on to start a hardware business. A connoisseur for people and experiences, real life is fertilizer for prose, and he returned to his love of a more creative style of writing. Writing feature columns for magazines and at Gedwardpress.com, he writes "The Nuts and Bolts of Things" , " The Edge of Heaven", and "Overheard at the Hardware Store." He, his wife, and children gather at the shores of a lake in Wisconsin, just this side of heaven.

This book is a great reminder that we are connected to the people we interact with throughout our days, even when our days seem to have no purpose. A humorous and thought provoking adventure in story telling!
