It was a pleasure to finally read a book that gives a patient¿s point of view on what it¿s like to live with sarcoidosis and the many side effects or chronic health conditions that come with this disease instead of just medical terms or opinions. The stories were written simply and to the point so that you could feel the emotions each patient was feeling, along with the caregivers that supported them. Mr. Barr truly covered all bases from personal experiences. This is an excellent read for anyone living with sarcoidosis or any other chronic health condition.

This is an excellent book about living with sarcoidosis, as Mr. Barr gives a variety of patient stories that shows our disease can affect everyone in a different manner, both physically and mentally. The stories give you great insight of how sarcoidosis can be unique for each individual and gave me many experiences I could personally relate to as a sarcoidosis patient. The chapter about children really hit home for me. There were also valuable tips about support options and how to fight the insurance hassles we all experience. The doctor's interview was also very interesting. This book was not too long and easy to follow. The second time around Mr. Barr got it right!
