About the Author

Tadhg MacCrossan is the Uer-Druis (Over-Druid) of the religious tradition known as Druidiactos. He has been involved in the Asatru movement since 1987, where he has become a godhi. In 1989, he began to study with the Ring of Troth, where he is involved in the connections between Celtic and Germanic religion. Tadhg (pronounced, approximately, Taw-eeg) holds a degree in English Literature from U.T.D. Tadhg's interests include not only Celtic traditions for the Druids, Bards, and Filidh, but also Arthurian tradition, Celtic music, ancient history and related subjects. His articles on Celtic religion have been published in many "neo-Druidic" periodicals and Celtic nationalist journals. He has taught classes in Celtic spirituality and has appeared on radio and television.

Tadhg was born to parents of Irish descent and was brought up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tadhg lives and works in the Dallas area where he is also active in Scottish and Irish Associations.
