About the Author

Having been raised in northern New England, Cathy Burnham Martin grew up with the decadent joy of true, seaside lobster bakes and clam bakes. She always notes how fortunate she was to be readily able pop into a lobster pound on the Maine or New Hampshire coast and buy a bunch of lobsters (her favorite food) and a bushel basket of clams to steam in the back yard or on the shore. Lobacious Lobster, her ninth cookbook, represents destiny long overdue.

A professional voiceover artist, Cathy Burnham Martin narrates her own books as well as those of other authors. Her Audiobooks appear sites like Audible.com, as well as Amazon and iTunes. In addition to fiction, nonfiction, and cookbooks, Cathy writes articles for the GoodLiving123.com blog. A member of Actors Equity and the National Speakers Association for 20+ years, she is a highly sought motivational speaker, dubbed "The Morale Booster," a corporate communications geek, dedicated foodie, and award-winning journalist.

A former news anchor and talk show host, she wrote, produced, and hosted dozens of documentaries, TV specials, and news reports, ranging from the Moscow Super Power Summit and the opening of the Berlin Wall to New Hampshire's First-in-the-Nation Presidential Primaries. Since her Dad's chef training at the famed Boston Copley Plaza, and her Mom's becoming the "Best Cook in Town," Cathy's natural "need to feed" launched television food coverage on WMUR-TV, New Hampshire's ABC affiliate. She also managed a community access TV station, continues to review restaurants and events, and is a top reviewer for Trip Advisor online.

Beyond cookbooks, her additional writing credits include 300+ episodes of New Hampshire Minutes, plus authoring books, including:
• The Bimbo Has Brains... and Other Freaky Facts
• A Dangerous Book for Dogs: How to Train Your Human
• Healthy Thinking Habits: 7 Attitude Skills Simplified
• Of the Same Blood: Your Eurasian Heritage
