Loch Ness Monster Explained & Loch Ness Understood: The Co-Founder of the Loch Ness Centre Provides a Personal Perspective on the Loch's Natural History, Geography & Heritage and the Famous Mystery Is Finally Explored and Explained. This is an update of the 2010 print publication Loch Ness, Nessie & Me by Tony Harmsworth. These books are the first comprehensive Loch Ness books for more than a decade. This electronic edition exposes fakes, hoaxes and pseudoscience and shows how the story grew from an interesting local tale into the most famous mystery of the twentieth century. Whether or not you believe in the mystery, how that mystery grew from humble beginnings to world fame is a fascinating story in its own right and this book explains all. However, it contains more than just the monster. It is a GEOGRAPHY of Loch Ness; the BIOGRAPHY of the world's favourite monster and the AUTOBIOGRAPHY of the best known Loch Ness commentator. A SUPERB READ FROM BEGINNING TO END!

I enjoyed this book -it's as much about the author's personal journey as well as the efforts to understand and capitalize on what has been going on at Loch Ness, and it includes with some plausable explanations. Very different from some Nessie books I read in the 1970s that promoted the idea of long neckedc pinnipeds.
