Nice read. No surprises in the plot at all, but it was still fun to read.

If you live your normal life and suddenly find yourself thinking about things that are happening in a book that means you are reading the right one! That is definitely about Lockheed Elite! Very interesting story written in a beautiful way, lots of dialogs, small details, very tough situations and appropriate funny moments, the author really makes you a part of the scene. Enjoyed so much the vision of new technologies, world order and even a daily routine of the upcoming future. Was happy to see the main aspects of human nature in this book like friendship, leadership, responsibility, courage, and luck. So there are a plenty of things to consider about our life right now and a lot of things to learn from the characters. I can't even imagine how much work was done in order to make such a complete, deep and versatile characters. Everyone will find the one for himself. This book reminded me my very first science fiction book I've read many-many years ago. I'm not talking about the plot, personages or the vision of the future, I am talking about the way you feel, how excited you are, how involved you are in reading and how eager you are to get back to reading it when you have time. Great! 5 stars out of 5 and many thanks to the author Tyler Wanschneider!

Really enjoyed this sci-fi adventure. There were several times where I lost sleep because I couldn't put the book down, which in my opinion is how you tell if it's a good book. I'm a fan of Firefly and some of Brandon Sanderson's books, and I think Lockheed Elite would fit in well with those.

I loved reading Lockheed Elite. It was a fast read that kept me entertained. It has a perfect mixture of suspense and comedy. The author does an incredible job with keeping you enthralled in the adventurous tasks of the crew. The fun and unexpected twists keep you guessing what will happen next. The characters are clever and easy to connect with; any reader will easily find a relatable character at some point in the story. I cannot wait to read the next one. I highly recommend reading this book.

Lockheed Elite Tyler is a sci-fi crime adventure story. The book is about a group of savages scouring for treasure and goodies. They are a good team but, deal on the edge of the law. The Galactic Command is after them and when the scavenger group ends up saving an abandoned woman who happens to be the bait. That’s when this sci-fi novel takes an interesting turn, and the adventure begins. Anders and his crew are an interesting bunch. Each casting crew has been developed with precision. Their personalities are strong and are written in such a way that it is very easy to get attached to them. The literature is written with care, and any person who enjoys sci-fi novels will thoroughly find this novel to be appealing. The plot is a combination of action, humor, adventure, and a mixture of secrets, gadgets, theft and interconnected twists. The pace and world setting begins slow and then gradually picks up making it a thrilling ride to the end. Although I predicted the ending, it was still as satisfying and pleasing to read.

Tyler Wandschneider's Lockheed Elite is a thoroughly enjoyable sci-fi crime adventure akin to an episode of Firefly than anything else. We jump between the perspectives of a cast of intergalactic anti-heroes as they dance on the edge of the law, caught between the authoritarian Galactic Command and the ruthless criminal underbelly of the galaxy. The plot is spiced up with more than a few twists and thoroughly human and flawed characters that keep you engaged right up until the end. If you're a fan of the science fiction genre, you won't go wrong with picking up this book. I think the word that really summarizes Lockheed Elite is: competent. The writing doesn't sparkle off the page; it's straightforward in its delivery. There's a certain relief to not having to dig through layers of purple prose to find any kind of enjoyable story. It's an easy read, especially if you're already au fait with the science fiction genre. The writing was absorbing precisely because it was easy to digest. I found myself chewing through ten to twenty pages at a time before I even realised it. If the goal of a writer is to engage the reader, then Tyler Wandschneider has certainly achieved it. This is not to say the writing is flawless; it occasionally struggles with articulating emotions. Characters will pontificate on the stakes or over-explain themselves, even at points where the tension and pacing should be amping up. The effect is something of a stumbling block in some of the most exciting scenes, as we read through one character or another describing how and why they feel a certain way.  The book develops it's characters slowly throughout the novel, letting them build into complex characters towards the end of the novel. Although characters don't feel like they have their own voices in the beginning, it feels more real towards the end of the book. Lockheed Elite is engaging, and it kept me reading all the way through to the end. Despite my above quibbles, I really did enjoy it. I think Wandschneider has done a great job in writing a solid, exciting book. I only wish that it perhaps had a bit of a stronger start and I think this would be a stellar example of a science fiction genre piece.

Really liked this story, it is full of action and with enough unpredictable twists that makes it hard to put down. Main characters quickly won me over and kept me rooting for them through all their troubles.

This was a fast, fun, read. The captain and crew were likeable and the plot was entertaining. If I could have given it 3&1/2 stars I would have, because there was a huge glaring enormous plot error concerning the possibility of human life in the vacuum of space. However I was enjoying the story and characters enough that it didn't ruin it completely for me, but it nagged at the back of my mind as I finished the book. The plot and cast were good enough that I immediately tried to buy the next installment of what I hoped would be a continuing saga.
