About the Author

USA Today Bestselling Author, Nana Malone's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since.

With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is.

Nana is the author of four series. The Love Match Series includes sassy contemporary romances: Game, Set, Match and Mismatch. The In Stilettos Series includes ultra-sexy and fun multicultural romantic comedies, Sexy in Stilettos, Sultry in Stilettos and Sassy in Stilettos. The Protectors series includes dark and sexy superhero romances, Betrayed (A Reluctant Protector Prequel), Reluctant Protector, Forsaken Protector, and Wounded Protector (Coming June 2014.) The Chase Brothers Series includes sexy, Interracial New Adult Romances, London Bound (Coming April 2014) and London Calling (Expected release October 2014). She also writes sizzling erotic novellas as Q. Malone, Corporate Affairs, Exposed, and The Flirtation.

The books in her series have been on multiple Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble bestseller lists as well as the iTunes Breakout Books list and most notably the USA Today Bestseller list.

Until that ninja job comes through, you'll find Nana working hard on additional books for her series as well as other fun, sassy romances for characters that won't leave her alone. And if she's not working or hiding in the closet reading, she's acting out scenes for her husband, daughter and puppy in sunny San Diego.

"London Bound" was a delightful read. I truly enjoyed delving into Abbie and Alexi's "Lex" love story. The chemistry between the characters was clear from the first moment they meant. Their eventual budding romance does not disappoint; I continuously anticipated the next encounter. However, I was a little annoyed when I discovered Lex's "demon." I expected so much more drama since how Lex was harboring the "nightmare" for over a decade. Overall, a great read. I truly felt I was visiting London from Abbie's eyes. A copy of this book was provided courtesy of the author in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars! This was my first novel by Nana Malone, but it definitely won’t be my last. Abbie and Alexi had so many wonderful kissing or snogging moments. I loved how author Nana Malone described that intimate act most especially. Their sex scenes were very steamy and earthy. Fortunately, I was able to do a dual format read. I listened to the audiobook and then reread the e-book in order to highlight and bookmark many favorite scenes. That's always an added bonus. And the cover image is simply gorgeous and sexy!

Great read. Characters were developed enough to really add to the story.

A pleasant, romantic read I was fortunate enough to receive an Advanced Review Copy (ARC) of this book in exchange for an honest review. Previous to receiving the ARC, I had never read any stories by this author. This is Abbie and Alexi’s story. Alexi is, sexy, good-looking, strong, broody with lots of secrets. He is totally into Abbie and wants to be with her, but his secrets threaten to break them up before they have even had a chance to get started. Abbie is caring, kind and running from her ex-boyfriend who has been abusive to her in their relationship and extremely manipulative. I found the story engaging and I wanted to keep reading it to see how Abbie and Alexi deal with their issues. I did connect with the couple and I could feel the chemistry and attraction between them. However, I was disappointed in Abbie’s response to every crisis that she and Alexi had in their relationship. Alexi always goes to her and wants to explain what went wrong. Admittedly, he should have told her earlier before it all hits the fan but he always tries to reach out to her to explain. She cuts him off and does not want to speak to him and she does not have all the information to judge why he did not inform her of all that was going on in his life, and when he needs to explain it, she does not want to listen. Sophie, her best friend, sums it up best for me: “…maybe he hasn’t told you everything because he knows you’ll run…you’ve run from this thing the moment there was trouble.” I could not have said it better myself. The pace of the story could have been quicker. All that said, it is a pleasant, romantic read! -Review by Marcia

London Bound has left me with a huge book hangover, wondering which book I have on my kindle to compete with Nana Malone's inspiring and absorbing romance.  Abena begins this story abused and oppressed, yet the reader watches her bravely evolve into a capable and independent young woman who leaves behind her family and home to study in a different country.  Abbie is someone I could easily imagine befriending; she uses her sassy attitude as a defense mechanism and is passionate, particularly about photography. Admittedly I thought that London Bound would have a more obvious love triangle, presuming that Abbie would be torn between Lex and Xander. Yet I loved the fact it was the less arrogant brother whose relationship with Abbie flourishes, allowing her to succumb to her sexual nature. Nana Malone creates wonderful scenes between the couple and whilst they are passionate, they also reveal a mutual love, deserved by both characters. Aside from the romance, Nana Malone builds the underlying thread of the story; the secrets Abbie and Lex hide from each other. Although the truths are hinted at I was surprised and shocked by Lex's revelations but they allowed me to feel a deeper sympathy for the characters involved. London Bound is a contemporary romance which can be distinguished from other books in its genre with its carefully layered plot, deep emotions and engaging personalities. Grab this book now! I recieved this as a complimentary review copy, but this has had no influence on my opinion.

London Bound is one of those books that sucks you in with an exciting storyline and some really fun and meaningful characters. Also it being set in London (Brit girl here) made me really excited as I really connected with the way Nana Malone wrote the story in this setting. This novel was really clever in the way it put points across through its prose and actions. I connected with Abbie as a character right from the word go, and really admired her strength in escaping a life that had become suffocating and dangerous for her in order to find her dream. I wish I was as brave as Abbie, and I think her character is one that will inspire young readers in following their passions, and making the most of their life. I loved seeing Abbie’s development progress throughout the novel, and it was beautiful to watch how the lovely Alexi brought her out of her shell and gave her a confidence and sparkle that had been trampled on after years of living with an abusive boyfriend. But what I loved most about her is that she never quite let her guard down. It sounds silly to say it as I loved Alexi so much, but I was pleased that she was being cautious with her heart, and I wanted Alexi to go out of his way to prove to her that she was the one he wanted to be with. I loved that Abbie’s confidence developed at a realistic pace, and it made the final product of her experiences all that more rewarding for both her, and for me as a reader. Alexi was such a great character and I loved the relationship he had with his brother. There’s so many stories of strong sibling rivalry that it was so refreshing to read about two brothers, who whilst felt jealous of the other at times, their love for each other was the most important thing and they put each other first. However, despite loving Alexi and Abbie, my favourite parts of this story were those with Xander. He was my absolute favourite character, and there are so many layers to him that I can’t wait to see unravel in another book. I’m one of those people who always takes sides in love triangles, but with this story, I really didn’t mind Xander’s attempt to seduce Abbie, as I really felt for him, and knew that he was just waiting for the right person that would heal him. I think whilst he had feelings for Abbie, the fact that he put his brother’s feelings first made him so honourable and I can’t wait to see whether he meets his perfect match, because whilst he was drawn to Abbie, I just know there will be someone out there who was made for him. The characters, storyline and setting was all so wonderful to read, and once I started I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. The relationship between Alexi and Abbie was beautiful, and Abbie’s trials after leaving America, her family and life behind showed me that true friends will be there for you without question. A brilliant read, and I really hope to see more from this series in the future. 5 Stars!

I keep surprising myself with the novels I read this year. To be honest, the synopsis for London Bound at a glance sounds formulaic, but let me assure you the story is anything but! The way in which Abbie's ex-boyfriend betrayed her isn't what you're probably thinking, and that isn't the only surprise in store - this romance is told in a way that's fresh and unique.  Abbie and Alexi have much in common - respective family drama, secrets they're keeping, and a desire to break free of their pasts to find happiness. I rooted for them to become a couple and wanted to convince them to just be together and forget everyone else. But I also knew that would've been too easy. Their push-and-pull romance kept me transfixed to my Kindle. I loved Abbie! She's so much stronger and braver than she thinks. It's a shame her family is so overbearing and disapproving of what she wants to do with her life. I felt the same way about Alexi's father, who is tyrannical towards his son but doesn't know the first thing about him. At least Alexi had a good relationship with his mother.  London Bound was even better than I was hoping. A range of emotion was brought out in me, and I love it when a book can do that. I became fully invested in these characters and what happened to them. This is the kind of book I want to shout from the rooftops for everyone to read!  If you've been hesitant to try a New Adult romance, thinking they all sound the same, I recommend reading London Bound. The story is fresh and full of surprises, and the writing made me forget I was reading a book. I felt like I was there with the characters. I'm super excited for the next book! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. The cover really struck me though. What should be the look of passion or love is instead the blank stare of a woman but yet says so much about her personal wellbeing and still gives off emotions. The blurb allures you to the idea that there’s so much more to the story and as I started reading, I was instantly confronted with the ex-boyfriends betrayals. Yes, not just one but a one, two and out the door he was sent. I instantly felt compassion and sympathy for Abbie and to have a connection like that, so soon, committed me to her throughout the book. Held back by her parents and boyfriend, for years, always expecting to be what they wanted to mold her to be, Abbie breaks free of them and with courage of a lion she strikes out on her own path in life. How many people have you seen that are just downright unhappy because they followed the dreams they were told to follow? May that be with love, careers, family, etc. Abbie says enough and blows everyone away. Abbie meets Alexi, aka Lex, and their love story blossoms. Alexi has his fair share of secrets he’s keeping, but I felt that it was made out way more than it needed to be. It wasn’t like he was a secret spy or anything, just business/family ties and some life choices that he was keeping mum about. And that isn’t a spoiler, you learn about certain things from the start of the book. This mixed with the walls that Abbie has put up from her life experiences makes for a whirlwind of push and pull of emotions. There are some violent moments, sexual situations and adult themes in this book, so I recommend it to readers 18+. For those that like a contemporary romance, cultural variations and a story that makes you think, you will enjoy this book.

After enjoying Mismatch this book leaves a lot to be desired. I can't put my finger on the disconnect. There were no surprises. I figured out what he was hiding when his nightmares were introduced. I usual enjoy Nana's work but I am disappointed.

I received an Advanced Copy/first draft by the author for an honest review. I fell in love with Nana's books when I read Game, Set, and Match. This was a free book on another site. I am so glad that I did! Her books are easy to read and easy to enjoy. Nana writes in many different genres and does a fabulous job with all of them. I had to search her out and see what other books she had out there which led me to her FaceBook page! Not only is she a great writer but she is fun to chat with online, which is how I ended up with a first draft copy of London Bound. (Check some of the others out!) Nana's latest release London Bound did not disappoint. I didn't know what to expect because the first books I read were lighthearted with some drama. London Bound from the beginning drew me in with the need to know how Abbie turns her life around and takes control of her joy. I will admit there were times that Abbie bugged me but so did Alexi. However if you know about the trauma both of these people experienced it makes sense why it was a push and pull relationship. I love how it played out there was just enough push and pull to keep me turning the page and devouring it in 1day and 1/2! I can't wait to read the next book in this series as well as other books by Nana. If you are looking for dynamic characters check out Nana's books. I will be honest though after you read one of her books you will come back for more!

“London Bound” is a thrilling, emotional rollercoaster, sexy, funny and witty story. I just absolutely loved the story of betrayal, love found and things we do to make it work. It is absolutely fantastic to read, very well written and mature language for such a young couple. “London Bound” is engaging, I always said one more page and before I knew it I had stayed up for an hour, I just wanted to see what was going to happen next. Nana Malone is a very good author and I enjoy her books very much, they make me laugh, they make me ache and I just enjoy that her books are not mono-toned. Abena is a strong minded, brave hearted young girl who stood up for herself and went after what she wanted, even though it was across the pond. Lex is a complex, loving, hardworking young man who seeks to separate himself from his controlling and angry father. Although both Abena and Lex want each other they have their own secrets that is preventing them from being honest and trusting of each other. Will they overcome their individual demons to be together and be happy? Or will they push each other away and end up alone? “London Bound” is a fascinating story, you have to read it.

~Nana Malone’s London Bound may not be your usual sassiness from the Stiletto Series but still has readers wanting more of the shy and cocky characters. London Bound the story of a young woman, Abena Nartey wanting both her dream career and her perfect man in her life. Which she thought she had in Evan Peters. The loving, supporting and nearly successful boyfriend. Evan had his life on track, so Abbie thought. With trust issues and a not so polished habit, Abbie finds Evan’s support is not in her favor. On edge awaiting for her acceptance to photography school that will help further her career, Abbie discovers her faith was held in Evan hands literally. With this discovery Abbie leaves everything and everyone in her life behind. Shy and content in a new atmosphere, Abbie tries to find her element but finds herself in the arms of Corporate Moguland one of London’s royalty Alexi Chase. Lex and Abbie had a lot in common both from successful families that both would like more than anything to have nothing to do with. Both with dark secrets that neither of them would like to ever speak of. The two get closer than Alexi and his older brother Xander, who happens to be Abbie’s professor wants them to be. This turns up the spice in this story and turns it into an interesting triangle. Distrust, lies and secrets things Abbie despises the most. When Lex tries to keep his identity from Abbie it takes a turn for the worse. Secrets and lies keeps them apart but will love and trust draw them together? Nana Malone tapped into a darkness that was light driven. This book tells a story of heartache; real issues; inspired dreams and pure raw happiness. She keeps her readers curious of what’s to come and I hope that this is not the end of Abbie and Lex or the Chase brothers. Where ever this story takes you and however it made you feel. London Bound is where we want t

I will first start out by admitting this is not normally my type of genre I read BUT I am so glad I took a chance on reading outside the box! This story was truly a great read. This is my first read by Nana Malone but after this book it sure won't be my last. In this contemporary adult romance story we get introduced to Abbie and Alexi. There passion and vibe was amazing and the story line was very believable. Nicely done Nana and I look forward to reading more of your work. London Bound by Nana Malone I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. And I was very surprised by this wonderful love story about Abbie & Alexi .It drew me in from the first page. It is so real you want to believe it happened to the author but she says it is not about her. It is that good just when you think you have it figured out you realize you don't.There is so much drama going on in both their family's. It is a most read.

I had the pleasure of getting an advance reader copy of London Bound, and I stayed up until the wee small hours reading it! This is Alexi and Abbie's story, and in the course of falling in love, they each had to learn to be their best and truest selves. Abbie was running from her old life as much as she was running toward the gifted photographer she was meant to be. Alexi was afraid to believe anyone would ever understand the choices he had made--choices that had shaped the man he could become. Can Alexi and Abbie learn to trust in themselves and each other? Will they give up on each other even though their chemistry is off the charts? I had the best time reading their story to find out! (Oh, and, their chemistry?? H - O - T !!!)

I received an Advanced Copy of this book from the Author for an honest review. Warning: you won’t be able to put it down! My daughter and read it at the same time and we had such a good time talking about Abby. Believe me in LONDON BOUND there was a lot to talk about. Nana Malone gave Abby such strength in dealing with such a difficult real life issues. It was fun to see her move on with life.  I love Nana’s writing style; I felt a connection with all of the characters in this book. I strongly recommend any of Nana’s Books.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review, so here goes.  I LOVED this book, I honestly couldn't put it down!  One of the things I absolutely love about Nana Malone's books is the female lead characters and this book did not disappoint!  Abbie is fun and sassy with a hint of a dark past that gives her a completely lovable personality.  I enjoyed going with her on the journey to redefine herself and find the love she so truly deserved.  Alexi is dark and mysterious and I got totally sucked into him and his story.  Even the supporting characters captured me.  The chemistry in this book is amazing and I would recommend it to all of my friends (and have).  It's a great read and you won't be disappointed!!!

Loving me some London Bound. Another great book by a great author. This was my first experience reading one of Malone's books. I relieved  a ARC copy from the author.  But this book is not my last. Malone's characters are very lovable and thought-provoking. She doesn't shy away from real life issues or make light of them.  She makes strong women that still need the courage and support of strong men. This was a great read. I highly recommend anyone picking up a copy and enjoying the fruits of Malone's labors.

Al I can say is, "Awwwwww, to be "London Bound" like Abbie, lol". I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. It was very well written and pages just oozed with chemistry for all if the characters, but especially Abbie and Lex. I appreciated getting an ARC (Advanced Review Copy) from the author for an honest review. The hero is an Englishman who is enchanted by the realness of the American woman he meets in London. He doesn't really encounter that in his daily life with other girls so he is drawn to the heroine and it becomes a lovely love story.   He has secrets that cause problems in the relationship and she has family issues and a jackass of an ex-boyfriend, but I loved  their interaction and the way they enjoyed each other.  This was a wonderful, easy read, loved the story and I love Nana's writing style.
