About the Author

Homesteader by day and werewolf…ahem, *teller of werewolf tales*…by night, Aimee Easterling is a USA Today Bestselling author writing on the boundary between urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

She heats her house with hand-split firewood, writes on an ultra-geeky Linux box, and generally does her best to confuse all reasonable assumptions.

Studying biology and spending a year backpacking around the world have both informed Aimee’s writing, but she’s quite willing to let reality slide in favor of a good story. You can learn more and download a free starter library at www.aimeeeasterling.com.

I started with Shiftless and after that I bought all in this series. Awesome to have actual stories, characters with development and depth , interplay, themes that are more than just sex and shredding (get boring after a while). Aimee Easterling shows thought and desire to make captivating reading.

After I finished this book, I just wanted more. The characters are developing with each new book. I found the plot to be very interesting and it move along at a fast pace, and too soon the book was finished. I'm looking forward to seeing what is in the future for Fen and Hunter as they lead this pack of misfits.

I loved this book. I liked the first one, but this one was fantastic. I loved Celia and how she did her best to let Fen know she was sorry for how she acted towards her as a child. I also loved that Fen has started to trust not only her wolf, but Hunter. This book was a great sequel and you will love it. Her old pack members show up and a few more wolves will join her family. there will be some hairy moments and Fen will find a home for her pack. I can't wait for the next one. I can't believe there will only be one more. There seems to be so many potential stories to tell of Ginger and her girlfriend and maybe Cinnamon can find a girl? How about Lia? Will she grow with her wolf and find a mate? How will Hunter be as a father? So many stories to tell.

This is the 2nd story in the Alpha Underground books about Fen and Hunter both of whom featured in the original Wolf Rampant trilogy and who don't like to do things the easy way?!. My reading order was just right for me, which was more by luck than planning, with book 1 Half Wolf, then Dark Wolf Adrift which is a linked book which gives insight into Hunter, followed by Book 2 Lone Wolf Dawn and finished off with Book 3 Wolf Landing. As with all the books mentioned above there was a good sense of humour alongside a solid moral compass all accompanied by feisty but not overbearing females.

Book two of Fens story is amazing! This storyline dealing with all the new emotions of our main characters does not fail to stimulate our own emotions. I once again have been thoroughly entertained with Fen's struggle with who she is and who she will be. Hunter's steadfast love and loyalty of course makes us swoon. Life for these love struck wolves keeps challenging them yet once again this amazing author captures your attention quickly and doesn't let go! Spend the afternoon with Fen and Hunter and you won't be disappointed! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fast paced and always relevant, this installment is just as moving as the rest. Childhood issues are faced, and life becomes ever more complicated for Fen. See publisher's blurb for clues, but read this one for yourself! This book was gifted in exchange for an honest review
